One of the most iconic steak and frites combos, the sauce is the creamiest, pepperiest masterpiece ever- this spot is my favourite place to enjoy this dish! Of course it is the local and visitor favourite Bistrot Paul Bert I had to call to reserve, which is so old school and I kind of love it- it's an elevated yet no frills Bistrot- super french and super Parisian. You're also given a basket of bread after you finish the steak to sponge up all that lovely sauce ( which I was also doing with the fries... duh) I loved the ambience of this spot, the taped checks on the window of where the kitchen peeks through, the dark cherry wood cabinets with a table to slice the bread.. it was too beautiful not to add into this painting!
